Poppy is a very posh Maltese Terrier and my Mum asked me if she could stay for a few days, What could I say- Duh! so this white furry thing arrived. She was quite well behaved at first and I liked showing her around, she had never seen a bed a big as Mum’s, I thought that’s good, as she would never be able to jump up to it, mind you she can’t jump at all. The first few nights she couldn’t control her bladder, so we all had to get up in the night so she could wee. You have never seen a wee like it – she balances on her two front paws and shakes her bum in the air, It’s Hilarious!
My Mum fell about laughing at the contents of Poppies case, Kennel No 5 perfume which stinks by the way. Mum soon toughened her up and put my skull and crossbones jumper on her and walked us through the fields. We tried to avoid the muddy paths but Poppy just loved it, we dumped her posh lead and gave her a long one so she could run free and feel the wind through her hair. She paid the price for the walk though as Mum had to do a massive clean up operation on her. OMG all that stuff to keep her white- cream for this, lotion for that, Mum had to bath her and even use her new hair dryer made by the same man that makes the Hoovers. Poppy was very impressed by that, but by god she is really high maintenance. Not like me !
