They say charity begins at home, my Mum thinks it begins with passion, particularly passion for what you believe in, I mean- before she had me she would never have thought of supporting a sausage-dog- NOW she is passionate about it. I exaggerate ! but you get my drift. When she was quite famous on the radio she was meeting herself coming back to support so many charities- then she settled to help Neil Cliffe to build a Cancer Centre in Wythenshawe, followed by The Bryan Robson Scanner Appeal culminating in creating The Kirsty Appeal. The latter raised over £5 Million and my Mum was shattered to bits after that massive project. She has learned so much about raising money and what makes a charity work- she would make a great consultant.
This week a local charity celebrates its 6th Birthday and my Mum wants to bring it to your attention as she swaps tweets with them a lot and believes in what that do, and with me having only one ear, So do I.
They are The Warrington BSL Choir and they work tirelessly signing to raise money. They join singers and bands and keep up with all the trends to capture the imagination of all who see them. So on Thursday the 20th of July at Warrington Deaf Club they will celebrate.
Happy Celebration BSL Choir, well done on all you do. We so take for granted our Ears and hearing so please support them if you can.
