Mum went to see Dunkirk this afternoon, I can tell
she ‘s been crying as she was all sloppy with me-and as soon as she got back she said she felt like a drink, so the film must have been pretty harrowing. She has been going on about how brave our fighters were and how loud the soundtrack is- and how well Harry Stiles did in his first film ( I bet his album will be playing before too long) I don’t need to remind her that many four legged animals died in that War and they still do and they cant wear protective clothing and tin hats, I am not sure if sausage dogs were any use in combat- the only fights I get are with Betty and Ruby–But we sure are great to come home too.
Mum loves the cinema but it’s the one place I cannot gain entrance
she has even become a member of the Curzon in Knutsford-but that doesn’t pull any canine strings, its a good job most of the films are short or I would be kicking up a fuss if she broke our 3 hour rule.
Mums a bit kiddy as it sounds like the” powers that be” are releasing a tribute type record next year to celebrate 50 years since her Pop Record was a hit. I am really pleased for her- she does a lot for me so I am wondering what I can do for her !!!
